I GOT IT!! I have the sweet CANON 7D fresh out of the box and in my hands!!! And here it is

Brian took the time today to call around and find one in a local shop so that we could go pick it up today!! Thank you so much!! After playing with their display for a whole, umm, 2 minutes, the purchase was made and within 10 minutes we walked out of the store with my new toy. I think the sales lady was partial to Nikons though, she sent me away with my sweet purchase in a big Yellow bag with Nikon all over it Gotta Love a sense of humor!

I got to play with it a little bit tonight and it has a lot of wonderful features, I have lots of reading and playing to do, but if any of the photos that I took tonight look half as good as they do on the LCD, I am a very happy girl Images coming soon!!

On a personal level, I have been very busy as of late, change of job, and lots of other things, all is good, but haven't had a lot of time on DA, so thank you all very much for your continued support, patience and understanding, I will be back soon to answer comments and give much more attention!
